PRITHVI MUDRA (“The Vast One”/Earth Mudra)
This mudra increases vitality, strength, and endurance and is said to counter vitamin deficiencies, nourishing hair, bones, and blood. It balances earth and fire elements for a grounded energy boost. Use your right hand for Sun Breath and your left hand for the mudra.
Either place your left hand on your thigh with palm facing up or bend your arm at the elbow and hold your hand at shoulder height. Hand on thigh is a bit more grounding and hand up is more energizing.
Fold the ring finger into the palm and hold it down with the thumb.
Extend index, middle, and pinky fingers upward.
